The city notice, posted September 22, describes separate lane arrangements for September 23 and 24. The Thursday entry is the one relevant to today’s planned work; the previous day’s westbound closure should not be used to describe Thursday’s arrangement.

Check the city’s Thursday information before leaving

Open the current notice and its September 24 map for the published work area. If your trip uses Tremont Street W, use that current city information when planning the journey. This article does not establish an unofficial detour or estimate a delay.

For an appointment, delivery, or pickup, share the dated city link with the person coordinating the trip. A screenshot without its date can confuse the two days’ different lane descriptions.

The scheduled end is not a completion report

The notice gives a planned work window. It does not prove that work began exactly on time, will end exactly on time, or has already finished. Follow current onsite traffic controls and check for city updates if the timing matters to your trip.

Kitsap Daily has not independently observed the work. This report summarizes the city’s published schedule, checked September 24, 2026. It should be updated or retired as a travel advisory after the scheduled work window rather than circulated later as an upcoming closure.
