Bremerton residents and landlords have a free yard-waste drop-off opportunity on Saturday, September 19, 2026. The city’s Beautify Bremerton notice lists collection hours of 8 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Legion Field parking lot on East 29th Street in East Bremerton.

This year’s collection accepts yard waste only. The cleanup name does not mean household garbage or other unwanted items will be accepted.

Bring proof of eligibility

The city’s 2026 flyer gives these instructions:

  • Residents may show a driver’s license or a recent City of Bremerton utility bill.
  • Bremerton landlords must bring a copy of their Landlord Business License.
  • The city may reject loads.

The flyer identifies one dumpster location, with Sheridan Road as the cross street for East 29th Street. Keep your proof of eligibility with you.

The offer is for City of Bremerton residents and landlords. People elsewhere in Kitsap should not assume they qualify. For questions about a particular load, call the city’s event information number, 360-473-5920, before transporting it. Recheck the notice for any last-minute changes.
