People who use Poulsbo’s eGovPLUS utility portal will need an emailed verification code to sign in starting Wednesday, October 21, according to the city’s login-change notice.

The city calls the new step multi-factor authentication, or MFA. It says the portal will send a temporary, six-digit, time-based code to the user’s registered email address.

Before Wednesday, check that you can access that email account. For questions about the change or problems getting into the portal, the notice directs customers to the Poulsbo Finance Department at 360-394-9881.

Where to start

Use the city’s Pay a Bill page to find its utility-payment options. It directs property owners and authorized billing recipients to the eGovPLUS login and separately lists a one-time payment option for tenants, property managers and other payers.

The city also maintains an online portal help page. The October 21 notice concerns access to eGovPLUS; it does not specify an activation hour or how long each code remains valid. Check the current city notice and contact Finance for account-specific guidance.
